The life of a Sr. Business Advisor includes:
-Acts as a strategic advisor and liaison to the SVP, Sales & Marketing and their leadership team. Works to make their time and decision making more effective
-Provides research, advice and analysis to inform key decisions and initiatives
-Owns early-stage concept designs that are nebulous or complex
-Drives action and results by representing the function at key engagements
-Develops communication materials that align the company around key policies, programs and initiatives - ensures content is accurate and reflective of SVP, Sales & Marketing’s intentions
-Maximizes the function’s reach across the organization – keeps hands on pulse, transfers knowledge and connects dots across functions
-Develops and manages communications on behalf of the SVP, Sales & Marketing
-Owns structure and deliverables for key meetings, preparing agendas, assigning and following up on action items
-Builds, develops and supports relationships with key stakeholders internally and key partnerships externally
-Formulates and compiles succinct reports for the board, the executive team and other company stakeholders that help illuminate progress, risks and what needs to be addressed;
-Advises on situations that require additional support or escalation and provides follow up as necessary
-Researches and develops new policies and programs working in partnership with the leadership teams that report to the SVP, Sales & Marketing
-Reviews, forecasts and manages the Sales & Marketing budget, working to find efficiencies in spend and optimize overall investments
 
For this role, you’ll need to come equipped with:
-Graduate degree in relevant discipline preferred
-Previous experience in management consulting, strategy development, program management or other related field
-Forestry or natural resources experience would be an asset
-Detail-oriented, strategic, and data-driven
-Independent and self-managing 
-Excellent writer and communicator
-Adaptable and good at context switching
-Proactive, driven and highly accountable
-Strong reputation as exceptional contributor
 
The salary range for this position is: $105,000 - $131,500
