SHIP Consulting Contract Strategic Planning Session February 8 & 9, 2024
Saskatoon Housing Initiatives Partnership (SHIP) is a community-based organization that strives to address homelessness by increasing the supply of affordable and appropriate housing options in Saskatoon. The economic, social, and personal well-being of the residents of this great city is our primary concern.
At SHIP, we believe that a wide range of housing options creates a safe, healthy, and prosperous community. Adequate housing accessibility provides a foundation to health and wellness for individuals and their families. Our vision is that everyone in Saskatoon has a safe, secure, and appropriate place to call home.
SHIP is seeking a consultant to assist in developing a Strategic Planning Session for February 8 and 9, 2024.
Scope of Work;
Work with the SHIP leadership team to research and organize relevant historical and contemporary documents on municipal CBOs organizational structures.
Review SHIP organizational evolution and governance structure in relation to the current vision and mission statements.
Facilitate interviews with SHIP leadership and weekly planning meetings and interviews with key stakeholders prior to Strategic Planning Sessions.
Develop event in collaboration with SHIP leadership and plan budget for the event.
Coordinate event venue, electronic and print communications, speakers, power point presentations, food services.
Develop and finalize Strategic Planning Session results and recommendations in an electronic and print format and make available for distribution within thirty (30) days post-event to SHIP membership.
Provide event equipment, computer software, and administration for the event including assisting in an evaluation of the event.
Finalize agenda in collaboration with SHIP leadership and facilitate break-out groups.
