Summer Camp Counselor

Our week long, day camps run Monday to Friday from June 24 to July 26.

As a member of our team you will:

• Execute the Summer Camp programming in co-operation with the Camp Director and other camp staff.
• Monitoring children aged 5 -11 both on and off-site.
• Greet Children as they arrive in the morning, and check-in with parents (as required) at the end of the day.
• Set a good example for all campers through professional and responsible conduct
• Encourage open communication and respect among campers
• Ensure a fun, safe environment for the campers and fellow staff by following all safety procedures.
• Report any behavioural or safety concerns to Camp Director and Headteacher in a timely manner.

Experience & Skills:

• Experience working with children in an educational setting
• Experience in theatre, sport and/ or arts camps
• Competent decision making, and judgement skills

Certification can be obtained upon confirmation of hiring:

• Child Abuse Register Check
• Vulnerable Sector Check
