Summer Camp Staff: Children and Youth (CYS) Facilitators and Instructors

We are currently seeking both CYS Facilitators and CYS Instructors to assist with the delivery of
the TLC’s Summer Camp programming.

CYS Facilitators are responsible for ensuring a quality experience in a safe and fun
environment for all Summer Camp participants. CYS Instructors are responsible for the
planning and delivery of quality recreation and sport programming, with a strong emphasis on
Fundamental Movement Skills development and Physical Literacy.

The ideal candidates are highly energetic and enthusiastic with a genuine interest in working
with children. Exceptional customer service skills are required. Preferred candidates will also
have experience delivering recreation and sport programs to children, preferably in a summer
camp setting. High Five, AFLCA, NCPP and other related certifications would be considered an
asset.

Successful candidates must also have or be willing to obtain current Standard First
Aid/CPR/AED taken within the last two years, as well as have both a cleared criminal record
check and child welfare check; HIGH FIVE or related certification would be considered an asset.

Hours: This is a seasonal part-time position working outside of traditional business hours from
June 27 – August 28, 2024.

CYS Facilitator wage range: $16.35 to $18.96 per hour
CYS Instructor wage range: $18.56 to $22.04 per hour
