Summer Student Agronomy

Delta Ag Services (www.deltaag.ca) is hiring a full-time Summer Student (for summer 2024) to join their operation in Portage la Prairie Manitoba. Delta Ag Services is an independent crop consulting company that works with their clients to review complete crop production systems and develop long term strategies to improve farm profitability, land stewardship and sustainability.

We are looking for a Summer Student who:

- Loves working within a team and who makes other team members better

- Is savvy in interacting with technology and associated tools

- Embraces challenges

- Is a self-starter and manages their time well

- Has excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills

Responsibilities:

- Provide support to our Agronomists, including crop scouting, soil sampling and assisting with all aspects of our operation

Qualifications:

- Currently enrolled in a Diploma or a Degree in Agriculture

- Previous agriculture experience in Western Canada

- Ability to multi-task and prioritize effectively

- Current drivers license

Job Types: Permanent, Full-time
