InnoTech Alberta has an opportunity for a Summer Student to work within our Chemical Testing team in the Applied Chemistry Services division, based in Vegreville, Alberta.

Reporting to the Laboratory Supervisor, the incumbent will gain experience in
The day-to-day operations of an analytical chemistry lab
The requirements of an ISO17025 accredited Lab Quality Management System
The preparation of environmental samples to be analyzed the senior technologists.
Day-to-day operations and support of a laboratory based business
Educational Requirement:
You are enrolled in a high school Chemistry program, or are enrolled in a chemistry related program at a university in the Fall of 2023.
Experience and Qualifications we are looking for:
Computer knowledge including proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word
Self -starter capable to work independently as well as on a highly integrated team.
Able to problem solve and pay exacting attention to detail.
Ability to work in a high-performance team environment.
