We are currently looking for a Store Department Department Heda/Supervisor who directly report to Store manager. This position will start immediately as a full-time position for the right candidate.
RESPONSIBILIIES WILL INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
Supervision and Leadership:Manage and lead the cashier team, providing guidance and support.
Conduct training sessions for new cashiers and ongoing training for existing staff.
Delegate tasks and responsibilities to ensure smooth operation of the Cashier Department.
Cash Handling:Oversee the accurate handling of cash transactions.
Ensure cashiers follow proper procedures for handling money, including providing change and processing refunds.
Customer Service:Resolve customer issues and inquiries related to the Cashier Department.
Foster a customer-friendly environment by ensuring that the cashiers provide excellent customer service.
Operational Efficiency:Implement and enforce company policies and procedures related to cashier operations.
Monitor cashier performance to ensure efficiency and accuracy.
Coordinate with other departments to optimize overall store operations.
Inventory Management:Oversee the management of cash registers, ensuring they are properly maintained and in working order.
Reconcile cash registers at the end of each shift and oversee the preparation of daily sales reports.
Security and Loss Prevention:Implement security measures to prevent theft or fraud at the checkout.
Collaborate with security personnel to address any security concerns in the Cashier Department.
Staff Scheduling:Develop and manage cashier schedules to ensure adequate coverage during peak hours.
Handle time-off requests and arrange for replacements when necessary.
Performance Evaluation:Conduct performance reviews for cashier staff, providing constructive feedback and setting performance goals.
Recognize and reward outstanding performance.
Compliance:Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations related to cash handling and retail operations.
Stay informed about changes in policies and procedures and communicate them to the cashier team.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: $18.00-$28.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 44 per week
