Supervisor

Here at Legend Landscape we are always striving for excellence. We are looking for hardworking landscape teammates to ensure our customers have a beautiful and healthy outdoor environment. Our focus is hardscape and soft-scape landscaping construction projects from the ground up. Experience is a plus.

We are currently seeking

First and fore most Supervisor candidates must be:

-be the primary interface between the customer and the crew

-give direction to crew members

-manage workflow

-good communication skills

-maintain a positive environment

-offer input when planning projects (time management)

• customer and quality focused
• understand and uphold the landscaping design prepared for the specific job
• maintain effective communication skills (both verbal and written) with the owner and operator at all times
• understand the importance of team work and following instructions
• display problem solving abilities
• act responsibly and respectful toward customers at all times
• be mindful of good ethics and maintaining integrity toward the company's reputation
• be able to operate or willing to learn to operate maintenance equipment, including lawnmowers, leaf blowers, and hedge trimmers
• high attention to detail with excellent organizational skills
• good stamina and physical health to work outdoors for extended periods
• willingness to perform gardening and basic lawn maintenance
• maintain and use company equipment in a responsible manner
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Construction skills expected for:

• able to follow instructions and pay attention to detail
• perform patio, stonework, wall building, Armour stone and patio block work installation, as well as fire pits and walkways
• ability to operate a stone cutting saw, skid steer and or mini-excavator is a plus

Gardening consists of but not limited to:

• removing weeds and dead plants
• trimming overgrown limbs, hedges and leaves
• planting new decorative bushes, flowers, plants and shrubs
• advising clients on how to maintain the landscape after the job is complete

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $26.00-$28.00 per hour
