Supervisor, Iam Security

On behalf of our client that is in the automotive industry, we are looking for an Supervisor, IAM Security . 

Be part of, and actively help lead and the regional IT Security strategy for the North American Region

Must have strong experience in IAM, Cloud Security and Application Security (API's)
Must have strong leadership abilities to lead a team of 6 associates
Exceptional communication skills and ability to deal with senior management

Monitor network for security breaches and investigate violations when they occur, inclusive of established security tooling (eg; Qualysguard, firewalls, SIEM, AV, etc)

The IT Supervisor - IT Security is also mandated to be very aware of market vulnerabilities, stay current on industry capabilities and developments, tools and methodologies, and leverage all of the above to ensure that Canada’s Security posture is consistently held at optimal levels

• Help design, implement and maintain cybersecurity plan
• Develop and direct implementation of security standards and best practices. 
• Plan, organize, lead, administer, evaluate and approve project designs, by providing design guidance and recommendations that follow security standards (both on-prem and cloud solutions)
• Provide application and architecture security reviews and identify recommendations for improvements

• Provide guidance on design, implementation, administration, and enforcement of information security controls to application systems and tools, including network security and monitoring, intrusion prevention, intrusion and endpoint detection and response, virus protection, and identity and access management.
• Perform Security risk assessments to evaluate risks and design controls to manage risks. Document and report control failures and gaps to stakeholders. Provide remediation guidance and prepare management reports to track remediation activities.
• Manage the implementation of projects to automate and continuously monitor information security controls, exceptions, risks, and testing.
• Provide technical expertise and guidance of security control implementation, cyber analytics techniques, including threat hunting, system configurations and forensics to other departments.
• Proactively supervise the research of the latest information technology security trends
• Remain current on information security management and technological advancements. Maintain comprehensive knowledge of the current cyber threat landscape, cyber security product categories and their application, and available and immerging technologies.
• Conduct Cyberattack preparation and training
• Manage and conduct training and education programs such Security Awareness training and Phishing simulations
• Devise, manage and execute Identity and Access Management strategy, inclusive of Access Management, Identity / Governance and Administration and Privileged Access Management
• Perform evaluation of businesses migration to AWS for compliance with standards and NIST security standards.
• Develop and support network / internet vulnerability assessment and penetration testing
• Enforce Cyber and cloud security standard frameworks, architecture, design, operations, controls, technology, and solutions.

Certifications :

CISSP(Certified Information Systems Security Professional),

CISA (Cybersecurity & Infrastructure Security Agency) &

CISM (Certified Information Security Manager

Qualifications:

7+ years progressively responsible work experience with IAM, Cloud and Application Security management, including at least 3 years of lead or supervisory experience

• Have managed teams / departments greater than 5 people
• Various technical skills and understandings (based on specific functions to be managed), Customer Service, Communication, People Leadership

• Strategic planning and Project Management
• Applicable information security management, governance, and compliance principles, practices, laws, rules and regulations
• Comprehensive multi-layered information security and defence strategies
• Risk assessment and management tools and methodology
• Information technology systems and processes, data architecture and processes, protocols, network infrastructure, engineering, and operations
• Cyber and cloud security standard frameworks, architecture, design, operations, controls, technology, and solutions
