Community Living Prince Edward is a not-for-profit FOCUS accredited organization located in Picton, ON which advocates and provides services for children, youth and adults with an intellectual disability and their families. We exist to facilitate the full participation, inclusion and citizenship of people with an intellectual disability in the life of the community. We currently are recruiting for a full time:
Supervisor, Quality Enhancement and Planning
Reporting to both the Executive Director, and the Director, Supports & Services this position will be responsible for the overall implementation and coordination of the Quality Enhancement activities and person directed planning framework with each person and family we serve. In addition, duties include adhering to and incorporating Conscious Care and Support, FOCUS, Quality Assurance Measures and compliance standards and conducting Personal Outcome Interviews and providing Personal Outcome Measures Training. Other responsibilities will include developing tools, resources, and training to support people, families and teams in the Person Directed Planning Framework. The incumbent in this role, will also be responsible for the annual update of the Quality Improvement Report, and the collection and detailed analysis of a variety of data streams, in order to assist CLPE in its planning and ongoing Quality enhancement initiatives. The successful incumbent will have the responsibility to present to and engage with a variety of different internal and external stakeholders.
The successful candidate will be a graduate with a post-secondary degree or diploma in the Human Services field and have a solid understanding of the values of the Community Living movement. Priority will be given to candidates with a specific background in creating complex plans of support with people through life transitions and collaborating with community partners by promoting a community first approach with planning. This will include a demonstrated understanding of the social services industry and its changing nature as well as a focus on social roles and natural support networks. The incumbent will have at least four (4) years of progressively responsible positions within the developmental services sector within a unionized environment. Your excellent organizational and time management skills, along with your dynamic leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills are required to complement our current leadership team.
