As a Supplier Quality Engineer Intern, your main responsabilities will be:
- Apply and deploy Serial Supplier Quality Assurance policy in collaboration with Procurement.
- Responsible for Non-Conformity Report management and Supplier performance for a precise scope of suppliers/projects, after the
- product validation, the First Article Inspection (FAI) + 3 deliveries.
- Perform inspections for low-critical parts
- Manage Quality performance of assigned Suppliers
- Manage Incoming Inspection activities when appointed SQ inspection leader for the given site
- She/he will be responsible for Performance measurements including complete inspections within allocated target lead time and ensure priority inspections are completed on time, Accuracy and correct defect characterization in Non-conformities and related ERP tasks (blocking stock, tasking, etc.), Ensure set up and implementation of continuous performance improvement actions with a regular analysis of downward trend in quantity of NCRs detected after incoming inspection during the production cycle (non-functional issues only) and Manage Incoming Inspection activities when required.
REQUIRED:
- Bachelor’s degree in Quality or Engineering or equivalent.
- Familiar with supplier qualifications standards (ISO, ASME, IRIS, Local Standards, etc.)
- Fluent in English
- 1 to 3 years’ experience in Quality, Production or Manufacturing (an asset).
- Knowledge in a technical field
