The opportunity
Oversees the daily execution and management of North American terminals and overseas facilities by ensuring strong coordination and communication with Terminal Operators and across the internal Operations, Quality Assurance and Marketing groups.
Monitors and tracks actual performance to plan, including identifying service failures, reasons for failure and customer service impacts; works with the Sales & Operations Planning group to complete a post-mortem review and sharing recommendations and findings across business functions.
Assists with ensuring terminals operate in compliance with proper Safety, Health, and Environmental standards.
Prepares regular management reporting and reconciliation of terminal activities related to throughput and inventory.
Works closely with the Finance team to review financial performance of each terminal including responsibility for invoice approval and recommendations for cost improvements.
Reviews data collection processes related to Supply Chain and makes recommendations to increase efficiency of processes.
You have
Bachelor's degree in Science, Applied Science, Business or a related field.
Minimum 5-7 years of work experience in a Supply Chain or operations management role.
Computer skills to maintain databases and spreadsheets to produce accurate reports and analyze large quantities of data.
Experience with Supply Chain modelling, financial modelling and data mining is considered an asset.
