In this role, you will:

  • Lead and manage Supply Chain improvement projects including but not limited to:
    • Strategic second sourcing
    • ERP implementation & optimization
    • Inventory reduction
    • Make vs Buy strategies
    • Strategic & long-term supply agreements
    • Cost reduction
    • Supplier performance management
  • Monitor Supply Chain performance to identify, define and drive continuous improvement activity to improve business performance (quality, cost, delivery, and lead time)
  • Leverage, maintain, and foster effective relationships with strategic supplier partners
  • Evaluate supplier performance including the identification and mitigation of risk
  • Lead supplier quality management and reporting
  • Lead problem-solving activities to resolve issues affecting supplier relationships and Supply Chain performance.
  • Support and lead supplier performance recovery and improvement activities
  • Provide support for supplier selection, supplier development, and NPI
  • Provide sourcing support to Operations and Engineering for proposals and projects
  • Develop channels of supply to achieve reduced lead time and inventory holding

What You Bring:

  • University Degree in Business, Supply Chain or Engineering or suitable combination of education and related experience
  • Minimum of 10 years of progressive Supply Chain experience
  • APICS certification considered an asset
  • Experience with ERP systems (SAP experience considered an asset)
  • Experience with RoHS/REACH requirements and counterfeit prevention processes
  • Highly skilled at building and maintaining effective and productive relationships with key stakeholders and suppliers
  • Strong negotiation, communication and influencing skills
  • Strong business acumen
  • Proven problem identification and solution abilities
  • Results-focused with the ability to plan and deliver against project deadlines
  • Effective time management and organizational skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
