In this role, you will:
- Lead and manage Supply Chain improvement projects including but not limited to:
- Strategic second sourcing
- ERP implementation & optimization
- Inventory reduction
- Make vs Buy strategies
- Strategic & long-term supply agreements
- Cost reduction
- Supplier performance management
- Monitor Supply Chain performance to identify, define and drive continuous improvement activity to improve business performance (quality, cost, delivery, and lead time)
- Leverage, maintain, and foster effective relationships with strategic supplier partners
- Evaluate supplier performance including the identification and mitigation of risk
- Lead supplier quality management and reporting
- Lead problem-solving activities to resolve issues affecting supplier relationships and Supply Chain performance.
- Support and lead supplier performance recovery and improvement activities
- Provide support for supplier selection, supplier development, and NPI
- Provide sourcing support to Operations and Engineering for proposals and projects
- Develop channels of supply to achieve reduced lead time and inventory holding

What You Bring:
- University Degree in Business, Supply Chain or Engineering or suitable combination of education and related experience
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive Supply Chain experience
- APICS certification considered an asset
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP experience considered an asset)
- Experience with RoHS/REACH requirements and counterfeit prevention processes
- Highly skilled at building and maintaining effective and productive relationships with key stakeholders and suppliers
- Strong negotiation, communication and influencing skills
- Strong business acumen
- Proven problem identification and solution abilities
- Results-focused with the ability to plan and deliver against project deadlines
- Effective time management and organizational skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Experience in a manufacturing environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
