Job Description:

• Support in completed ADL's such including toileting, bathing, dressing, feeding, etc.
• Provide medication reminders and track all changes
• Light housekeeping tasks and meal preparation
• Assist in companionship and conversation to stimulate and encourage engagement
• Escort to medical appointments as needed
• Aid in hospice and palliative support
• Assist in Dementia care

We are looking for candidates who are comfortable working in Long Term Care or Retirement residences.

Requirements:
International nurse or Certified PSW in Canada or currently enrolled in a nursing program, having completed ONE year.

• Ability to communicate effectively in a friendly and congenial manner
• MUST have a vehicle and valid auto insurance or reliable transportation
• Experience with Alzheimer's or Dementia patients is an asset
• Candidates must provide a vulnerable sector check as well as 2 professional references
• Must have a VALID First Aid and CPR Certificate

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Casual

Salary: $17.00-$19.50 per hour

Expected hours: 15 – 40 per week
