Stonebridge Community Services is a non-profit, fee for service organization serving the tri-county areas of Oxford/Elgin/Norfolk providing a wide array of community support services. Staff and management provide high quality, client driven care programs which assist members of the community with their life care (home support) needs as well as provide health and wellness programs.

As a Supportive Care Assistant you will:
· Maintain a healthy balance to your workload and inform your direct supervisor should this healthy balance be threatened.
· SCAs must provide quality service to meet the client goals as outlined in each individual’s care plan, this may include but is not limited to:
· Household management tasks - light housekeeping, laundry, meal planning & preparation
· Transportation - accompany clients according to their care plan and authorized by the Direct Supervisor, following proper health and safety clearance protocols
· Encouraging client independence and promoting wellness through gentle exercise & activity
· Providing companionship, comfort, and support to clients
· Following the client’s care plan precisely as directed and, together with the client, prioritizing the routine activities to meet the individual’s requirements or goals
What you bring:
· Must have completed First Aid training with a current and valid certification
· Experience providing a high standard of customer service that is client focused
· Valid Ontario Drivers License and reliable transportation required; Provide insurance documents showing evidence of $1,000,000.00 in automobile liability insurance
· Accountable, reliable, self-motivated with strong ethics and integrity
· Familiarity with the MSC’s services and geographical service delivery area
· Passion for continuous professional development
