Teck Alaska Incorporated, Red Dog Operations, one of the world's largest producers of zinc concentrate, is recruiting for a Surface Crew Crane/Heavy Equipment Operator
Rotation schedule will be 2 weeks on-site with 2 weeks off-site
Reporting to the Surface Supervisor
Responsibilities:
• Be a courageous safety leader, adhere to and sponsor safety and environmental rules and procedures
• Operate heavy equipment which includes, but not limited to:
o Friction cranes, Hydraulic cranes, Forklifts, Tractor/Trailer, Grader, Dozer, Snow Blower, Bus, Trash Truck & Medium Sized Vehicles
• Perform clean-up
• Load and unload small aircraft
• Transportation of people and supplies
• Road, Airport and Yard maintenance
• Barge loading and unloading
• Garbage disposal
• Perform other related duties as assigned
Qualifications:
• Must have High School Diploma or equivalent
• Must have a positive and safe work history
• Must have current crane certifications
• Must have a Driver License
• Must have the ability to obtain a Commercial Driver License within 60 days of employment
• Previous equipment experience is a must
