Tactical Security Guard

G Force Security is looking for a full-time Security Guard for our new location in Thorold, ON. This position is a Part-time position, with the possibility of a full-time position. The Security Guard will perform a variety of duties, including but not limited to patrolling the property and property exterior areas, monitoring and recording surveillance cameras, checking surveillance cameras, and providing support to other personnel as needed.

Requirements:

• Provide outstanding and personalized customer service as a front-line representative.
• Assist with any questions from members of the public coming onto the premises and direct them to the appropriate group/individual, as required.
• Enforce property rules and regulations and the Trespass to Property Act to maintain the security and safety of our clients and their assets.
• Oversee the logging in and out of site equipment.
• Respond to all emergencies (medical, building, etc.)
• Investigates security breaches, incidents, and other alarming behavior.
• Completes reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities.
• Patrolling and monitoring designated areas
• Interacting with the public with a customer service approach to security
• Monitor and control access at defined facility and property entry control points and assigned security posts.
• Escalating and assisting law enforcement as required
• Completing incident reports and required documentation for all security incidents.

The Ideal Candidate must have:

• Full-time availability to work all days of the week and schedules will consist of afternoons, and evening shifts.
• Great Physical fitness: A good officer needs to portray a clean professional image.
• Customer service-driven individual
• Must be able to stand for up to 10-12 hours.
• Clear English communication skills in all areas (verbal and written)
• Keen observation and attentiveness
• Decision Making, Reliable, Common Sense, and exceptional judgment.
• Able to work as a team.
• Working knowledge of Trespass to Property Act and Criminal Code of Canada
• Must have G driver License

Salary: $17.00-$17.50.00 per hour
