Taping Technicians

Key Accountabilities:

• Preparing wall surfaces
• Ability to measure and cut materials to specific lengths, requiring basic math skills and accuracy
• Sealing joints between plasterboards
• Follow site safety procedures

Qualifications:

• 2-5+ years of relevant taping experience
• A valid Class 5 Driver's License and reliable transportation
• Experience in Drywalling and Taping
• Attention to detail
• Ability to work independently
• Ability multi-task and problem solve
• Must be able to meet deadlines and prioritize your work
• General housekeeping and clean up

Working Conditions:

• Physically demanding position
• Standing for extended periods
• Ability to lift up to 60lbs
• Work at heights, be agile and able to go on/off equipment

The hiring company is recruiting for Taping Technicians. We primarily work with residential new builds, single family homes, and apartment buildings; providing service to roughly 1800 houses a year. This position is based in Calgary, AB working. Hours of work fluctuate.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: From $4,500.00 per month

Flexible Language Requirement:

• French not required

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
• Weekends as needed
