Tax Preparer:
Prepare or assist in preparing simple to complex tax returns for individuals and small businesses. Compute taxes owed or overpaid, complete entries on forms, following tax form instructions and tax tables, use their knowledge of tax laws and regulations to prepare, file, and manage the taxes of individuals and organizations
Role Description
This is a contract role for a Tax Preparer. As a Tax Preparer at L & R Accounting, you will be responsible for accurately preparing and filing individuals' and businesses' tax returns. This is an on-site role located in Penetanguishene, ON.
Qualifications
- Experience preparing and filing tax returns for individuals and businesses
- Excellent knowledge of tax regulations and laws
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Proficiency in tax preparation software
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Accounting or a related field is preferred
Administrative Assistant:
The ideal candidate will exhibit high standards, excellent communication skills, and have an ability to take initiative, and prioritize daily tasks. A strong ability to take charge and meet tight deadlines will ensure your success in this multi-faceted role.
Role Description
- Scanning of documents on high speed scanning stations and image capture via camera of physical cherished documents. Quality check completed scanned document and save document file onto the Network Storage System
- A document scanner has the responsibilities of making legible digital copies of hard documents and saving it storage
- Ensure file organization based on office protocol
- Handle and coordinate with team member and the clients
- Provide ad hoc support around office as needed

Job Type: Casual
Salary: $16.55 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
