We are in search of for our Team Lead for our Asset Recovery team in our LendCare subsidiary. This leader will support the Manager, Asset Recovery and Remarketing with the day-to-day operations and act as the subject matter experrt for the team. You will be responsible for maintaining a positive relationship with vendors while identifying the best interests of the company. You will be reviewing and making decisions on escaladed active accounts within company guidelines in a timely and cost-effective manner. You will also be working closely with other team members while mentoring and independently making decisions in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Day to day review of active accounts
- Communicate with vendors in a productive and professional manner.
- Manage vendor expectation with company interests in mind.
- Review and decision vendor requests with regards to effective cost control
- Follow directions and procedures based on the provided workflow.
- Audit accounts to ensure accuracy from team members.
- Plan and execute workflows with manager based on company needs.
Requirements:
- Good understanding of provincial guidelines
- General knowledge of Canadian geography
- Strong interpersonal skills for vendor communication
- Experience in reading and reviewing a Credit Bureau report.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications including MS Excel
- A keen eye for detail and excellent organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and within a team.
- Social media savvy
- Plan and execute workflow.
- Lead communication in crossover department discussions.
- Full-time availability to work in our Pickering, ON office
