Role overview:
We are looking for an SDET to join our team! This role will be focused on creating, maintaining and improving our extensive automation suite. As part of the team, you will be the automation subject matter expert. You will mentor QA team members in areas of test automation to build and improve testing, and also help in implementing test automation strategies.
What you’ll do:
- Define Test Strategy, Test plan and writing test cases.
- Build and maintain existing automation frameworks.
- Understand requirements and able to prepare specifications and test Strategy documents.
- Work closely with the scrum team and able to understand the terminology and concepts around Java Script/HTML, Node JS React, JSP and Servlet.
What you bring to the role:
Must have:
- Minimum 10+ years of experience working in QA, with at least 4 years experience as an SDET having proficiency in Agile methodologies and technically strong in Java and Selenium.
- Experience in understanding Java code and converting it to automation scripts.
- Hands-on experience in fixing and testing low-priority defects.
- Experience in working Onshore/Offshore models.
- Good understanding of SQL and Oracle database.
- Any exposure in Power builder tools will be an asset.
- Domain expertise in Investment and 5+ years of experience working in the Group Retirement area.
