AddressBIOVECTRA Inc. has an opening for a Technical Operations Student. This is an 8 month work term located in Windsor, NS.
The candidate will be responsible for:
- Preparing spreadsheets to track critical project data, preparing summary reports, and identifying process improvement opportunities using statistical methods.
- Working with the project team in the identification of instruments, equipment and process aids for the maintenance and manufacturing departments for the facility and recommending supplier options
- Providing administrative support for the facility staff and sourcing, purchasing, negotiating equipment and process aids for processes.
- Creating BPR and work instructions for manufacturing team.
- Assisting to train operators on new equipment.
- Supporting batch execution on the floor with set up materials through the inventory system for batch production.
- General housekeeping duties to maintain cleanliness of laboratory equipment and workspaces.
- Adhering to BIOVECTRA's Health and Safety Policy as outlined in CP0010 Occupational Health and Safety Policy, Statements of Principle, and Responsibilities.
- Additional duties assigned, based on business needs and the department supervisor's request.

- Currently enrolled in a post-secondary program.
