Position Summary:

Reporting to the Director of Programs, the Project Manager will play a key role in executing contracts related to customer orders. Responsibilities include supporting proposal preparation, contract negotiation, and ensuring proper contract execution. This position involves close coordination with Sales, Engineering, Production, and Customer Service teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as the primary interface with customers for contractual obligations.
• Review sales forecasts, identify potential issues, and attend sales hand-off meetings.
• Maintain high standards of customer service by promptly addressing and resolving issues.
• Provide clear direction to internal stakeholders and ensure goals are met.
• Maintain accurate records, track issues to closure, and implement business process initiatives.

Qualifications:

MUST HAVE:

• Aerospace domain and contracts experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong customer service focus in a complex environment.
• Exceptional people skills and ability to work cooperatively with stakeholders.
• Professional presentation, empathetic listening skills, attention to detail, and organizational skills.
• Self-starter mentality with a drive to exceed expectations.

NICE TO HAVE:

• 5+ years of project management experience in the aerospace industry.
• Experience leading customer engagement, technical management, and business development.
• Knowledge of CRM systems and satellite networks/mobile communications (e.g., Iridium, Globalstar).
• Experience with ISO9001/AS9100 quality systems.
• PM Certification preferred.
