This position will report to our EnerSys Energy Systems business, which serves the telecom, cable broadband, industrial, renewable, and data center markets. Our portfolio combines our stored energy expertise with power systems, enclosures, and renewable energy products to deliver world-class solutions for diverse applications such as 5G, broadband, Internet of Things (IoT), data center, and solar power. Our cutting-edge technology includes Lithium batteries, Fault Managed Power Systems, and Extended Run Time battery backup systems that improve the reliability and resiliency of broadband networks.

Job Purpose
Provide technical and application support for EnerSys products and services, in the assigned area against profitable margins and in line with the business plan, in order to continue to the realization of service-related sales and service targets
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
-Resolve customer’s technical issues by providing remote product support via phone and email.
-Track and document technical incidents in a Case Management System.
-Act as an advocate for the customer to resolve technical issues.
-Communicate with multiple departments to ensure customer issues resolution and satisfaction.
-Document known technical issues and write knowledgebase articles.
-Develop product-specific eLearning content for a learning management platform.
-Collaborate with Engineering and Product Management for purposes of writing Technical Advisories/Bulletins.
-Participate in department and company meetings such as product failure analysis, customer historical analysis, procedure development, and modifications.
-Take a leadership position when needed.
-Assist with reports and testing equipment, as needed.
-Conduct customer site visits for issue resolution when needed.
-Always follow safe working practices.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
-Understanding of power electronic equipment architecture.
-Knowledge of electronics/electrical fundamentals and ability to read schematic diagrams.
-Working knowledge of system troubleshooting.
-Ability to work with limited direct supervision.
-Ability and willingness to be a team leader.
-Strong verbal, telephone and written communications skills.
-Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and the Internet
-Basic knowledge of DC Power Systems, UPS, Inverters and batteries.
-Diploma/Degree in Electronics and/or Electrical (Technology) program or equivalent.

-Must be able and willing to work varying schedules which may include nights, weekends, and public holidays.
-Must be able and willing to work overtime.
-This position will work in an office setting, expect minimal physical demands.
