Technical Writer

Collaborating closely with the product management, engineering, and customer support teams, in your role as the Technical Writer, you will play a key role in crafting technical documentation. This includes manuals for users and service partners, technical specifications, product documentation, and training materials aimed at assisting our customers. You will become part of a dedicated team that prioritizes excellence and aims to surpass customer expectations. Responsibilities include:

· Create, edit, and maintain high-quality technical documents including user and service manuals, job aids, and other training materials.

• Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) including engineering and the product management team to understand complex technical concepts and translate them into clear, concise, and user-friendly documentation.
• Ensure consistency and adherence to brand standards in all written materials.
• Maintain Documentation Libraries: Organize and manage document repository ensuring quick and easy access for internal users. Ensure online sources for external users are up to date.
• Create clear and captivating product training videos for SureShot customers.
• Create marketing materials such as product specification sheets.

· Draft internal and external communications

· Ensure assigned tasks are completed on budget and on time.

Qualifications

• Post-Secondary Degree in Business, Technical Writing, Marketing, English, or a related field.
• Minimum of three (3) years of experience in technical writing.
• Excellent writing and editing skills with the ability to create clear, concise, and engaging content.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Computer skills including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Adobe Suite of Products, and KeyShot
• Fluency in English is compulsory. Fluency in a French would be considered a strong asset.
• Results oriented and hard-working self-starter with a positive attitude.
• Graphic Design would be considered an asset.
