EnerMech is hiring Technicians for project in Kitimat, BC Canada. This is a project at a camp, all expenses, meals, lodging and airfare are provided. Must be authorized to work in Canada.
As a Technician for EnerMech Mechanical Services, you will be expected to comply with department procedures, operate equipment and participate in the effective operation of industrial services activities.
Participate effectively, safely and maintaining quality as a technician within crews with minimal supervision by Leading Hands whilst utilizing good communication skills with all EnerMech and client team members in order to operate in an efficient, safe, flexible and dynamic manner on projects as directed.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
Undertake the following:
- Air Line BlowingHooking hoses up and moving from system to system
Basic bolting works
Operating compressor
Operating dryer
Fill up fuel for equipment
Fill out check sheets daily for equipment
Source fitting required for hook-ups
Walk with supervisors to tag valves in open or close position
Barricading work area for testing with a key focus on ensuring safety
Perform daily operational checks on all equipment used during the field operations
Work under Leading Hands in all tasks, responsibilities, duties, work and projects as may be requested
Perform any administrative requirements including accurate completion of work timesheets, JHA's, vehicle check sheets, equipment inventory lists or any other documentation as may be required
Follow EnerMech best practices and internal policies in relation to safety, fatigue, cleaning equipment, support equipment, Personal Protective Equipment, inventory control, client relations

- Participate in safety meetings in relation to QHSE, JSEA's SWMS, JHAs and job and environmental risk assessments as required by EnerMech or clients
QUALIFICATIONS
- National Construction Card - Site Ready British Columbia
- Durg and Alcohol Test
- Background Check
- Current valid driver's license
PREFERRED
- Heavy Rigid Truck License
- Senior First Aid
EXPERIENCE, COMPETENCE, SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE
- Willingness to learn and participate in learning
- Industrial Experience
- Work across work scopes on the project
PREFERRED
- Experience in High Pressure Water jetting or similar high pressure pumping
- Experience Operating pumps
- Heavy Rigid Truck License
- Forklift License
- Elevated Work Platform License
- Working at heights
- Confined Space & Gas Monitoring
- Experience operating Drying & Vacuum Drying Equipment
- Work Experience in the Mining, Oil & Gas Industry

Job Type: Fixed term contract
Pay: $25.00-$38.00 per hour
