Temporary caregiver (E13)

RAPS is Seeking a Temporary Full time caregiver to assist an individual with MS (E13)

Location: Wetaskiwin This position has the possibility to be Permanent.

Days: Monday to Friday

Hours: 8:30am-3:00pm

Job Description: Duties include but are not limited to: 1 personmanual transfers (Pivot transfer), personal care (Dressing, bathing, and toileting), range of motion and physical therapy exercises, meal preparation, light housekeeping and laundry, client engagement and companionship.

Note: There are 2 Dogs in the home.

Qualifications and Other Requirements:The successful candidate will have an updated criminal record check with the vulnerable sector check, a driver’s license and vehicle, some experience cooking. Candidate must have the ability to lift, push, pull 50 lbs.

The ideal candidate will have previous caregiver experience but is willing to learn.

Rate of Pay: $19- $21/ hour
