NVIT anticipates the need for multiple Term Instructors to deliver a 1-year certificate Indigenous Early Childhood Education program in the Lax Kw’alaams (Port Simpson) Community and invites applications from qualified candidates.
Job Summary/Responsibilities:
The Indigenous Early Childhood Education Instructors will teach in NVIT’s IECE program with a varied workload each term. The successful candidates will be committed to a program that emphasizes the optimal growth and development of infants, children, youth, and families. This position will commence September 2023 and will end August 2024. Applicants should indicate which courses they are qualified for and interested in teaching. The courses to be taught include:

- IECE-125 - Designing Children's Programs
- IECE-126 - Programming for Early Years
- IECE-134 - Guiding Through Gifts in Indigenous Early Years

- IECE-148 - Practicum 1: Connecting Theory and Practice
