The Terminal Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily shipping and receiving operations within a distribution center. This role involves updating ERP system of inbound/outbound shipment, managing personnel, optimizing workflow, ensuring safety and compliance, and maintaining efficient terminal performance.

Daily Shift: 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM, Mon-Fri
Essential duties and responsibilities
1. Shipping/Receiving Operation:
· Coordinate and oversee the day-to-day operations of the terminal, including loading and unloading of goods.
· Work with carriers to arrange shipping; prepare bills of lading and other shipping documents; perform end of days.
· Ensure that outbound shipments are accurate, properly packaged, and meet customer requirements.
· Manage the receiving process for incoming goods. Inspect, document, and appropriately store received items.
· Prepare and maintain accurate records of shipping and receiving activities.
· Available for overtime if needed.
2. Personnel Management:
· Supervise the employees in the warehouse and address personnel issues as needed
· Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
3. Order Fulfillment:
· Work closely with other departments to fulfill customer orders efficiently.
· Ensure proper documentation and compliance with packaging requirements.
4. Inventory Management:
· Maintain accurate inventory records for both incoming and outgoing products.
· Conduct regular cycle counts and reconcile discrepancies to ensure inventory accuracy.
5. Equipment Operation:
· Operate material handling equipment, such as forklifts or pallet jacks, to move and organize inventory.
· Ensure the proper maintenance and safe operation of equipment.
6. Communication:
· Communicate effectively with internal teams and external partners, including suppliers and carriers.
· Report any issues or delays in shipping and receiving processes.
7. Problem Resolution:
· Address and resolve any issues related to shipping errors, damaged goods, or inventory discrepancies.
· Collaborate with relevant departments to implement corrective actions.
Qualification requirements
· University Degree or equivalent.
· Experience in warehouse management/ shipping / and transportation.
· Working knowledge with inventory management systems and shipping software.
· Good computer skills and Microsoft office are required.
· Physical ability to operate material handling equipment (forklift, pallet jack, etc.).
· Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Salary: $55,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
