Adecco is currently hiring for a temporary, full-time Test Lab Operator for our client located in Ottawa ON.

As a Test Lab Operator, responsibilities entail performing cartridge testing for quality assurance and finished products as required, potentially including Non-Production tests. Additionally, they communicate process enhancements, comply with EHS guidelines, produce test reports using data analysis tools, and uphold lab cleanliness while ensuring effective shift communication.

The ideal candidate should have a high school or college diploma and possess the ability to plan, organize, and prioritize daily tasks to meet set deadlines. They should also demonstrate strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform cartridge testing to support standard component Quality Control testing, “prebuild”, of all Coagulation, Immuno and Core products, as workload requires.

  • Perform cartridge testing to support finished goods testing of all product types, as workload requires.

  • May perform Non-Production testing of all product types under supervision.

  • Communicates ideas and suggestions for improving processes to leadership.

  • Understand and comply with applicable EHS (Environment, Health, and Safety) policies, procedures and guidelines.

  • Use data analysis software applications to generate production test reports.

  • Ensure the lab is left in good order and appropriate status information is communicated to counterparts on other shifts.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Must be eligible to work and reside within Canada

  • High school / College Diploma 

  • Ability to plan, organize and prioritize own daily work to meet established schedule.

  • Demonstrated problem-solving and trouble-shooting skills

  • Detail-oriented and ability to multi-task.

  • Ability to clearly, concisely and accurately convey communications.

  • Ability to form and develop interpersonal, professional relationships; display socially and professionally appropriate behavior.

  • Ability to work independently and in groups.
