GRASSLANDS PUBLIC SCHOOLS is hiring!

We are seeking a

motivated, professional and skilled individual to serve in the role of theatre

technician. The successful candidate will have a proven ability to work

independently to fulfill a diverse range of bookings including school concerts,

dance recitals and theatre performances.

The successful applicant must have a flexible schedule and available to work late afternoon, evening and weekends and sometimes long hours based on theatre bookings.

Able to perform tasks, that may be physically demanding that includes but not limited to; climbing and balancing; stooping, kneeling, crawling, bending, turning, and reaching; lifting, carrying, pulling and pushing; and, prolonged sitting and standing

Preferred Education and Certifications:

High School Diploma or equivalent

Prior experience working with audio/visual equipment or post-secondary education would be considered an asset but not a requirement

Current Criminal Record Check (CRC) with Vulnerable Sector Check (VSC)

Original document reported within the last 6 months of hire date; condition of employment
