Ticket Seller (Summer) Part-Time

We are looking to fill the position of Summer Ticket Seller at Fernie Alpine Resort. The ideal candidate will have strong customer service skills, cash handling and computer experience and will be a team player. You Will:

• Ensure a comfortable and friendly atmosphere for both guests and staff
• Sell day tickets to guests for biking and hiking products
• Handle cash including a daily float and debit and credit card transactions
• Balance shift end sales report
• Have extensive knowledge of resort & resort products and events
• Promote and sell all products and experiences available at the resort
• Assist with Guest Inquiries and Resolving Issues
• Know and adhere to the policies, rules and protocols outlined in the RCR Employee Handbook
• Know and follow all safe work procedures included in the Safety Management Program
• Know and comply with all expectations of the Injury Management/Return-to-Work Programs
• To perform other tasks and duties that are applicable

You Have:

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• POS system and cash handling experience
• Good computer skills
• Excellent guest service skills
• Willingness to learn

Part-time summer seasonal role, 9am to 12.30pm (10-20 hours per week)
