Tool And Die Maker

Adecco is currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Tool and Die Maker to contribute to our clients Midland, ON operations. Join them at the forefront of stamping and pressing technology, where you'll play a crucial role in maintaining progressive stamping dies. This full-time position offers a competitive salary of $36.26 per hour, with unlimited overtime, a defined benefit pension, and comprehensive medical benefits.

• Pay rate: $36.26/hour. plus 5% afternoon shift and 7% midnight shift premium.

• Location: Midland, ON

• Shifts: 8-hour shifts with overtime and weekends as needed

Responsibilities:

• Maintain progressive stamping dies for efficient manufacturing processes.

• Work independently or collaboratively within a team setting.

• Troubleshoot and perform timely repairs as required.

• Utilize knowledge of machinery in the tool room.

• Demonstrate flexibility and precision in working within tight tolerances.

Requirements:

• Skilled Trade Certificate (required).

• Grade 12 Education.

• Physically fit.

• 3 years of experience in progressive dies, jigs, and fixtures.

• Certified Red Seal Tool and Die Maker.

• Completed a 4-year apprenticeship program.

• Good mathematical skills.

• Ability to work independently or in a team.

• Strong troubleshooting and repair skills.

• Knowledge of machinery in the tool room.

• Flexible and capable of working within tight tolerances.

• Legally eligible to work and reside in Canada.
