Tour Guide And Office Staff

We are looking for a Tour Guide and an office staff! Unique opportunity to experience the true North of Canada! This will be a once in a lifetime chance to work and live in Yellowknife, the Aurora Capital of the world! We are looking for someone who will be focusing on the experience itself.

Employment Period: Tour guide : Starting immediately- April 20th, 2024.

Office staff : Starting immediately-

Wage: During the first forty (40) work hours from the Date of Hire, the employee will receive a training pay rate of $17.50 per hour CAD paid biweekly.

Upon the successful completion of the Training Period, the employee will receive a base pay rate of $2.00 per hour CAD paid biweekly.

Allowed to accept Tips and Bonuses.

Hours of work: We are in the tourism industry, Tour Guide hours will depend on the bookings. The hours of work is usually between 30-40 hours per week. It might fluctuate every week, this means you might have under 30 hours or overtime hours. Please make sure you are flexible with the nature of the tourism industry before sending your application to us.

Staff Housing: rent starting from $550 CAD monthly (shared). Including internet, hydro and heating.

Staff Equipment: Will provide winter clothing (Canada Goose) for Tour Guides

Job Description: Day tour and Night Tour Guides. Deliver the best customer services and knowledge to the foreign guests. It will be a fast-paced and physically demanding work environment. Will need to handle camera equipment and take photos for the guests. There might be some admin work as well.

Job Requirements:

• Fluent in English
• Eligible to work within Canada (Valid VISA)
• Physically capable for walking tours
