Overview:
This is a permanent seasonal position with potential for limited paid hours over winter, to manage social media, communicate with the Tourism Board, and apply for grant funding.
As the Tourism Director with the help from our board, you will shape the direction of Redvers Tourism and manage our summer employees. This role offers a blend of professionalism and enjoyment, including indulging in Saskatoon berry pie and mingling with tourists!
Responsibilities:
Come up with creative strategies to promote Redvers as a destination.
Plan and execute events, activities, and programs aimed at enhancing visitor and local engagement.
Manage all aspects of the Log Cabin and campground operations, ensuring a unique, safe, and welcoming environment for visitors.
Guide and mentor summer employees.
Serve as the primary point of contact for tourists, providing information, assistance, and ensuring a positive experience.
Develop marketing and strategies to increase awareness of Redvers as a destination.
Prepare and present monthly reports to the board.
