Ensures that reprocessed items to patients and clients throughout the organization adheres to guidelines and standards
set out by CSA (Canadian Standards Association), Accreditation Canada, Infection Prevention and Control and Health
Canada.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Grade 12 education or equivalent
- Certification from a recognized Medical Device Reprocessing Course (In the absence of applicants with
health care experience with requirement to obtain certification within 1 year)
- Working knowledge of Windows based programs (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook) and Internet
- Satisfactory employment record required
- Successful candidate subject to provide security checks in accordance with Security Checks for Employment
