The Trade Marketing Executive is responsible for development and execution of Trade Marketing strategies across offline channels from vape stores, to general retail, and key accounts. This position is the key contact for implementation of strategic solutions that help build RBH portfolio presence, awareness, and performance at retail for both consumer and store staff. This role is crucial as a creator and executor of impactful tools & concepts to build differentiation, gain competitive advantage, and propel portfolio performance in retail.
YOUR DAY TO DAY
  • Build of a holistic retail brand presence strategy for RBH portfolio based on competitive landscape and organizational KPIs, as well as create a brand-specific trade visibility strategy by retail channel in close alignment with field teams.
  • Develop a toolbox of brand staging materials for different retail types, based on market insights, in line with global guidelines and working in close cooperation with RBH marketing team and 3rd party suppliers.
  • Put together a yearly calendar of retail communications by trade channel in line with company strategic plans, ensuring most efficient way of staff and consumer education on RBH portfolio initiatives at retail.
  • Own the implementation from ideation to execution including design development, alignment with field teams, production, putting in field, managing timelines and budgets, monitoring the effectiveness of tools provided and ensuring continuous improvement.
  • Manage trade visibility budget and provide accurate reporting for deployed initiatives vs pre-established KPIs.
  • Be the first point of contact for trade visibility topics to the field organization; track and share best practices from other industries and markets. Conduct field visits to ensure proper implementation of the tools developed and overseeing general retail trends.
  • Develop effective relationships with diverse departments, lead and manage the relationships with RBH external agencies/partners involved in development and production.
  • Coach and update field team on the trade visibility tools and initiatives, build awareness of merchandising standards and practices.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
  • A degree in marketing & sales or economical background
  • 2+ years in Trade Marketing in a commercial environment (FMCG/CPG)
  • Exceptional planning & project management experience.
  • Strong grasp of marketing processes and trends, innovative, solution-oriented mindset.
  • In-depth knowledge of the consumer goods industry and trade
  • Strong analytical skills with sales data knowledge.
  • Strong budget skills.
  • Strong collaborative communication & teamwork skills.
  • Strong work ethic & self-motivated; must be able to work independently.
  • Working previously with creative, experiential and/or production agencies is a big plus.
  • Fluent in English, bilingual in French a strong asset. Must be proficient with Office Suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Word).

For this position the salary range is between $89,000 to $106,000 based on the level of experience.
