JOB SUMMARY:
This position is responsible for the analysis of training needs for the organization, designing, developing, implementing, and maintaining learning solutions, and the coordination and administration of learning activities including scheduling, and the administration of corporate training records.
This position will work closely with subject matter experts throughout the organization on a variety of training initiatives, requiring some travel throughout the province.
 
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
•    Design, develop, and maintain training material for the organization
•    Coordinate training with the business and maintain training calendars
•    Conduct and/or facilitate task analysis, profiles and instructional material layout
•    Develop curriculum and prepare teaching materials and outlines for courses 
•    Prepare, coordinate, administer and evaluate exams, metrics and reports to analyze and evaluate employee performance  
•    Analyze, Design and develop efficient and effective learning and performance methods
•    Provide individual or group instruction on corporate training programs
•    Research and identify ongoing improvements in learning and performance training standards
•    Provide administrative functions as required for the position
•    Maintain files, records and databases associated with the department
•    Participate in continuous educational and professional development as required
•    Other related duties, as assigned
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:
•    Bachelor’s Degree, Diploma, Certificate or Designation in related field, or equivalent OR;
•    Certificate in Adult Education, or equivalent
•    Three (3) years of related experience in the analysis, design, and Development of learning and training materials; and activity-based Design and delivery; or equivalent
•    Excellent communication, coordination and organizational skills
•    Excellent analytical, problem definition, problem solving and organizational skills
•    Aptitude for accuracy and detail 
•    Excellent computer skills with proficiency in the use of the corporation’s standard software, including Articulate 360 and the Adobe Creative Suite
•    Ability to deal effectively and cooperatively with others
•    Valid Class 5 driver’s licence, as required by the position
This position falls with in the scope of Unifor Local 649.
