Transfer Agent

Are you interested in serving your fellow community members in their time of need through a part time position? Bowers Funeral Service is seeking individuals to join our team as a Transfer Agents and Funeral Attendants. You must be a team player, willing to learn and willing to challenge yourself to go above and beyond for the families we serve. This is a casual position including daytime work, evenings, and weekends. It is ideal for those who are retired, in school, or just looking for supplementary income while meaningfully serving the community.

Requirements:

- Live within a 15 minute drive from the funeral home (located at 440 10th St. SW, Salmon Arm, BC)

- Have a valid BC drivers license

- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to interact with families during their time of need and create and maintain a premier level of client family satisfaction

- Ability to manage many different tasks while maintaining a calm and professional demeanor

- Be physically fit (specifically for Transfer Agent position)

- RCMP police background check

- Experience as a first responder or health care services an asset, but not required

- Must own a black suit and white dress shirt

Job Types: Part-time, Casual

Salary: $20.00-$30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 2 – 10 per week
