Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

• Promotes and adheres to company safety policies and regulations.
• Provide timely courteous customer service.
• Ensure accurate records are maintained.
• Accurate data entry.
• Weigh and keep records for potato trucks throughout the day.
• Inspect trailers to ensure cleanliness for hauling raw potatoes.
• Drive company vehicle to and from offsite farm scales.
• Regular communication and reporting to raw scheduler.
• Mange trucking paperwork and communicate with McCain Freight and Logistics Team.
• When scale operations are not required, aid local Ag Operations teams with tasks as needed.

Required Education, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities (Competencies):

• Minimum grade 12 education from a recognized learning institution.
• Proven ability to work independently and prioritize tasks.
• Strong written and verbal communications skills.
• Good customer relations skills.
• Ability and willingness to reject a trailer if not suitable for hauling raw potatoes.
• Must pay attention to details.
• Must be able to use good safety judgement to work in the environment.
• Must hold a valid class 5 driver’s license.
• Good understanding of computers
• Strong written and verbal communications skills

Hours of Work

• Monday to Thursday. 10 to 12 hours per day.

Rates

• Start Rate: $25.95
• After 3 months: $ 27.17
