Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Travel Advisor. As a Travel Advisor, you will be responsible for assisting clients in planning and booking their travel arrangements. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a passion for travel and excellent customer service skills.

Duties:

- Provide exceptional customer service to clients, ensuring their travel needs and preferences are met

- Research and recommend travel destinations, accommodations, transportation options, and activities based on client preferences

- Assist clients in booking flights, hotels, rental cars, and other travel arrangements

- Handle inquiries and resolve any issues or concerns related to travel bookings

- Stay up-to-date on industry trends, travel regulations, and destination information

- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to encourage repeat business and referrals

- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations and provide support as needed

Qualifications:

- 3-5 years of work experience in a Canadian travel agency preferred

- TICO Certification

- Strong knowledge of hotels, airlines, cruise lines, and other travel services

- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment

- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills

- Proficient in using computer systems and travel booking platforms

- Knowledge of CBO is preferred, with familiarity of Sabre being an asset.

- Passion for travel and willingness to stay updated on industry trends

Preference will be given to candidates in the Niagara region able to work from our storefront office but remote candidates will also be considered.
