Travel Consultant - Full time positions only!

Our Travel Consultants complete training and OJT on site at our newly renovated Saint John facility. We provide you with an exceptional classroom learning experience and dedicated OJT support. You can apply for working from home after training and OJT completed.

Travel Consultants qualify for a lucrative incentive plan that could result in bonuses of up to $2000 quarterly!
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
Once you have completed training, you will research, plan, and execute customized travel experiences, through booking domestic and international flights, car and/or hotel travel arrangements.
- Deliver world-class customer service via in-bound call servicing
- Understand our customer needs through consultation to deliver an innovative and extraordinary interaction through multi-channel servicing
- Research, plan, and carry out personalized travel experiences, through booking domestic and international flights, car and/or hotel travel arrangements
- Communicate new and existing product offerings and value propositions relevant to the Customer
- At times, you may need to de-escalate a Customer ’s stress, when unforeseen travel situations arise
- You will always put the Customer’s experience at the forefront of everything you do, earning their dedication
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Proven ability to provide premium customer service, ideally in a call center environment
- Experience servicing customers ideally in travel, hospitality, high-end customer service or sales roles
- Basic geography knowledge with ability to locate continents and travel destinations worldwide
- A passion for building customer loyalty by carefully listening, building rapport, and providing extraordinary customer care
- Proven empathetic approach to customer service
- Must demonstrate a true interest in travel
- Natural communicator with the ability to demonstrate listening skills and able to adapt conversation to suit the situation
- Positive attitude and outlook, demonstrated through desire to learn, willingness to ‘have-a-go’ and optimistic teammate
- Ability to thrive in a results-driven environment, with a healthy strive to meet and exceed goals
- Technically able and used to using computer applications and personal devices, can navigate PC and basic MS Office easily
- Travel Reservations, Cruise, and Tour experience is a plus
- Mandatory attendance for 100% of eleven-week training program to reach certification
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Clear background check
- Ability to work evenings and weekends
