Louis W Bray Construction is actively hiring for an experienced Tri-Axle Truck Driver to join our team and assist in the completion of complex, Heavy Civil Construction projects in the Ottawa area.
Job Description
- Delivering materials to and from job sites within the City of Ottawa (no long hauls) all year round.
- Operating vehicles in accordance with MTO requirements as well as local, municipal, provincial and federal laws.
- Navigating driveways, alleyways, parking lots, high traffic roadways and construction sites.
- Performing pre-trip and post-trip inspections of assigned equipment and document checks on standard Vehicle Inspection Report (VIR).
Requirements & Knowledge Needed to Succeed
- Valid Ontario DZ Drivers License & Clean Driver's Abstract
- Minimum of 3 years experience driving Tri-Axle Dump Trucks
- Experience in the Civil Construction Industry is a strong asset
- Geographical knowledge of the Ottawa area is a strong asset
- Understanding of the ELD system is a strong asset
