SalaryGoodboy Landscaping provides a premium sodding service to the Ottawa area. We are seeking a reliable, honest and hardworking drivers to join our landscaping crews. Goodboy Landscaping is a growing company with lots of opportunities to grow with us.As a driver, you will be responsible for your maintaining and driving the truck/trailer assigned to you and working on the crew. Most projects will be resodding properties within the city limits.Responsibilities include:Operate various tools and equipment on site.Safely operate trucks and dump trailers.Complete daily logs.Comply with all company and regulatory policies.Propose and implement areas for improvement.
Qualifications:Experience in grading, sod installation, and other softscaping services is preferred.Experience driving loaded trailers and landscape dump trucks with 5 tons of equipment and/or aggregate.Valid G driver's license, with a clean record is required (3-year driving abstract required).Class AR License considered an asset.Good physical condition.Ability to work under-pressure and use strong time management skills to deliver.Personal transportation requiredThis is a full time contract position (approx. May 2020 - November 2020). There is a possibility for extension throughout the winter with guaranteed pay.The position is Monday- Friday. With holidays and long weekends off.
