Purpose
We are seeking energetic, Underground Truck Operator with a positive attitude, good attendance and safety record to join our team and contribute their skills and knowledge to our ongoing development and growth.
Responsibiltiies
- Operate 45 Ton Trucks
- Water Cart Operations
- Boom Truck Operation
- Be an engaged and active member of a highly productive team
- Take direction from the Production Leaders and/or Underground Supervisors in a positive manner
- Work in a safe and efficient manner at all times
Requirements
- 1-3 years of underground mining experience or previous experience operating heavy machinery.
- Experience in mechanized mining would be considered an asset.
- HITE training preferred but not mandatory.
- Ability to sit/drive for up to 12 hours daily.
- Ability to lift up to 40lbs.
- Experience with Haul Trucks, Water carts and Boom Trucks.
- Possess Ontario Underground Common Core Certification.
- Current and valid Driver's License preferred.
Working Conditions
The work schedule for this position is 14 days on, 14 days off, working 12-hour days.
