This year’s project will officially get underway the first week of April 2024, and is expected to run for up to 47 days. During this time, we will welcome an additional 2,200 skilled trades personnel to our facility. As a team, we will work together to perform preventive maintenance, renovations and upgrades as part of the multi-million dollar project – ultimately allowing us to continue safe and reliable operations.
Federated Co-operatives Limited (FCL) is hiring for various temporary roles for the upcoming maintenance Turnaround at Co-op Refinery Complex in Regina, SK for up to 6 months.
We are looking for temporary:
- Labourers
- Scaffolders
- Insulators
- Electricians
- Pipefitters
- Welders
- Instrumentation Technicians
- Industrial Mechanic Millwrights
This opportunity is offering $38.12 (Labourer), $43.18 (1st year apprentice), $45.01 (2nd year apprentice), $52.30 (3rd year apprentice), $56.54 (4th year apprentice), $64.68 (Journeyperson) per hour + overtime.
What you’ll do:
Depending on the position you are qualified for; your duties include but are not limited to:
- Assist in the various trade sections within the Refinery
- Work mostly outdoors in all-weather conditions and are willing to adapt to the required working hours as they evolve, including night shifts and weekends.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures implemented by FCL.
Who you are:
- You have a high school diploma or GED and have a valid class 5 license and/or applicable Journeyman tickets.
- You are mechanically inclined, preferably with experience in an industrial work environment.
- You have a minimum of 1 year experience directly related to the required industrial work environment.
- Preference will be given to those candidates with a valid Safety Construction Orientation Training (SCOT) certificate. Due to the nature of the work, a positive safety attitude is required.
