Job Profile
You will develop and lead dynamic, engaging visual art programs for children ages 6-12 at the Cambridge Centre for the Arts that inspire children to learn, grow and use their skills to imaginatively and creatively express themselves.
What you will be doing
Develop and lead visual art programs using a variety of media, techniques and themes for children including summer camps, after school, Saturday programs and weekend workshops
Keep program rooms and supplies organized
Greet and orient children and parents to facility and programs
Maintain health and safety regulations; ensure code of conduct is followed
Education
Experience and Knowledge
Demonstrated experience developing and leading visual art programs using a variety of media, techniques and themes for children ages 6-12
Keen and enthusiastic attitude and approach to children, parents and arts programming
Excellent organizational and customer service skills

Rate of pay
The hourly rate will be determined based on experience, education and training. The range is $20.00 - $40.00.
Hours of work
Flexible as needed during arts centre open hours, depending on programming levels.
