About the Role
As a Vault Container Delivery Driver at Riverside Warehousing Ltd., you will play a vital role in our operations team. Your main responsibility will be to safely and efficiently transport and deliver Vault Containers to designated locations. You will contribute to our overall customer satisfaction by ensuring the timely and secure delivery of goods.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a commercial vehicle to transport Vault Containers to various destinations
- Follow designated routes and schedules to ensure timely delivery
- Load and unload Vault Containers, adhering to safety protocols
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and complete necessary paperwork
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers to provide updates on delivery status
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations
- Report any vehicle malfunctions or maintenance needs to the appropriate personnel
- Perform yard and self-storage maintenance tasks and other duties assigned by management
Requirements:
- Valid Class 5 driver's license
- Proven experience as a heavy equipment Delivery Driver
- Excellent driving record with no traffic violations
- Ability to handle physical demands of loading and unloading containers
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
