The Role:

Join our team at Gibbons and become part of the vibrant culture of Whistler! As a member of our Venue Management team, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the success of our venues. Operating 9 of Whistler’s best venues, our team is always growing and our needs are always changing. From leading a dedicated team to executing flawless events and upholding our core values, you'll be at the forefront of creating unforgettable experiences for our guests. Responsibilities:

  • Full sales & product knowledge
  • Schedule and managing a team (including recruitment, training and development, coaching and discipline management)
  • Attend and contribute to regular operations meeting focused on profit and revenue, labour and employee feedback
  • Daily inventory to ensure the business is set up for success for the following shift
  • Liquor licence compliance
  • Champion internal feedback and hook up programs
  • Marketing and event execution
  • Uphold Core Values: Have Fun, Encourage Trust, Show Kindness, Act like an Owner & Hustle

Requirements:

  • Hospitality/Marketing/Sales background (events management experience highly regarded)
  • Guest experience focused and maintaining community connections
  • Administration and computer skills (Microsoft products, POS, employee timekeeping programs)
  • Flexibility and adaptability
  • Strong communication skills and ability to react calmly to challenging and stressful situations
  • SIR
  • First Aid (or ability to acquire)

Salary and Team Perks:

  • $55,000 - $75,000 annual salary based on experience and qualifications.
