Veterinary Hospital Office Manager

Bay City Animal Hospital is seeking a full-time Office Manager to join our team!

Our team of animal healthcare providers are dedicated to providing patients with exceptional care.

The successful candidate will spend a portion of time on administrative duties, team leadership, clinic organization and the remaining time assisting in the clinic where required.

Primary Responsibilities are:

· Oversee operations of the clinic and provide direction to staff on business procedures

· Perform Human Resource duties including full cycle recruitment, manage personnel files, oversees scheduling of staff, manages staff training requirements, assist with the resolution of staff issues

· Complete payroll functions including review of employee hours, perform timecard adjustments, generate and submit payroll reports, record payroll data and track payroll source deductions

· Perform financial tasks such as reviewing all transactions, maintaining accurate transaction records, processing invoices, record AP/AR, prepare monthly financial reports, assists with financial forecasting, reviews all clinic orders, works with banking officers and financial vendors

· Manage vendor and supplier relationships

· Ensure compliancy with regulatory requirements

· Coordinate maintenance activities to ensure the facility is visually appealing to clients and staff

· Assist staff with front desk coverage when required

· Perform cleaning duties within the clinic

The ideal candidate must have:

· A love of animals and a deep understanding of the human/animal bond

· Previous management experience

· Experience in performing human resource functions

· Financial skills to understand the needs of the business and the importance of

growing revenues and controlling expenses

· Collaboration skills to build rapport and solid relationships with team members, clients, and the community

Location: On-site

Salary: $20.00-$25.00 per hour + Paid time off
